The TFS beat tape is finally here! Stream it now!

Today’s Future Sound Presents: A Sound Foundation (Beat Tape/Compilation) by Various Artists (Today’s Future Sound staff and extended fam)
A major thanks to all of the incredibly talented producers/beat makers/musicians who donated their tracks to this beat tape/compilation! It is comprised of original, exclusive tracks from the staff and extended family of Today’s Future Sound, a non-profit organization based in Oakland, CA with chapters spread across the United States, including Canada, that uses music production and media arts as vehicles through which to empower youth as artists and community members while fostering their well-being as individuals.

This compilation is both meant to showcase the talent of our various folks, as well as a thank you gift to those people who donated to our Beats4Lunch IndieGoGo campaign to support our weekly flagship program at West Oakland Middle School (WOMS) where we have volunteered and taught beat making and DJ’ing to the students since September 2012, helping them to put out their own beat tapes/albums and learn about music. Please consider making a donation or buying a Beats4Lunch or TFS logo t-shirt/hoodie (see merch section on here) to help us continue our work at WOMS, the other eight Oakland/San Francisco elementary/middle schools where we teach and our free, open-to-the-public, all ages workshops we do in the community in the Bay Area.

This album will be free for all the contributors to the Beats4Lunch campaign, and then after the first few weeks of release will be “pay what you want” for the general public.
